Viaccess Keys - very secure (in the latest versions) from hacking coding. Designed in France. Used in Russia by NTV-Plus, in Europe (for example, on Hotbird satellite in its coded set of channels). Early versions of the encoding (Viaccess 1, 2.3, 2.4) cracked. The state in 2010 to actively use the new version 3.0 and 4.0 of this encoding. There is also a modification of the encoding - TPS-Crypt, which is used by the French satellite TPS (from 2007 belonging to the group Canal +).

Viaccess is a very well-developed access by Orange SA. So far we know six versions used Viaccess 2.3 Viaccess 2.4 Viaccess 2.5 Viaccess 2.6 Viaccess 3.0 Viaccess 4.0 Viaccess 5.0. Viaccess has been well developed as the digital version of the system used EuroCrypt and MAC hybrid system. The first version is sometimes referred to as Viaccess 1, and the last three, although different, such as Viaccess 2, 2.3, 2.4 are known to be inefficient, and many set-top boxes may be "patches" to decrypt the Viaccess free signals, but 2.5 and 2.6 are much safer, secure remaining 2.5 two years from the first commercial implementation. 2.6 Coding was introduced in late 2005, was introduced in mid-2007 and 3.0.

New viaccess keys

We know two kinds of Viaccess 2.3 working. The first, known as TSP Crypt is always used by the TPS. TPS Crypt system has been modified to use Advanced Encryption System (AES) keys. These AES keys from beginning is updated once a week, to not to disturb viewers, was introduced and the second encryption system TPS, the system keys are changed every 12 minutes, the keys being sent to TV system that opens TPS acquis. This meant that only TPS receivers could receive new AES key. Implementation of this procedure that automatically updated keys proved to be difficult if not impossible to implement multiple satellite receivers, which makes TPS Crypt AES encryption system very good. A second version of Viaccess, called Thales Crypt is well used by Canal Satellite in France to protect content on the transport network, it is a mechanism for over-encrypted encryption key.

Viaccess is used by many vendors. Such as RTV Slovenija, Art, SRG SSR Idee Suisse, NTV, Canal Satellite France, Televisa Networks, AB Sat, Fransat, ETTV, TBLTV, YouSee, Home2US, Croatian Radio Television.
